Research
| The department Technical Mechanics deals with vibration of solid structures. Considered are dynamic procedures in structures as well as in rotating systems. The main interests of the group are focussed on the identification of system parameters resulting from the dynamic behavior. This proceeding is also qualified for health monitoring as for damage detection. The dynamic strain leads to fatigue of material and so to crack propagation. That combines the above mentioned research topic with fracture mechanics. |
