Content
Part I of a two part compulsory lecture of basic study is covered in one semester. Focus is made on laying the foundation of materials science and materials testing. The aim is to familiarise students with technical material concepts and their spectrum of technical application. Procedures which determine material properties and parameters are explained to aid the understanding of material characterisation, application and the merits of specific treatments to broaden their application. Organisation
Location: In winter term 2020/2021 WT1 in form of a online lecture.
The lecture's documents will be accessible through the learning management system moodle from November 2nd on. In the moodle system you can find the lecture by navigating to Fakultät IV – Maschinenbau – Institut für Werkstofftechnik. You can find the password for the moodle WT1 subscription in unisono, Werkstofftechnik I, by navigating to “Dokumente”. Only accessible by approved participants.
